Andy Warhol (1928 – 1987) is best known as a leading figure in the pop art movement (think Campbell’s Soup cans, Coke bottles, dollar bills and Marilyn Monroe). Working out of a studio called The Factory, he popularized the process of screen printing which enabled him to mass produce a single image in his signature style.
